Restoration intervention was led by restorer Renata Džaja. My involvement in this project has began with the phase of retouch. This phase involved a very complex reconstruction of the lower portion of the painting. The reconstruction was based on a study of other paintings performed by this master and with the help of reference remains of the original painted layer. I also used a living model for the reconstruction of human body parts to achieve maximum credibility of the final display. All used materials are reversible.
